If you have ever considered a safari holiday then you might want to know where the best places in the world to go are. Well Africa has always been the best place in the world where you can go on safari, so here are some of the best resorts.

In Kenya there is the Porini Wilderness Safari. The advantage with this place is that you book it as a Safari bundle. There are actually three economically friendly bush camps that you will be staying in while on your safari quest. All of these camps have been built to have as little effect on the environment as possible. The guides are world renowned for being experienced and great tours; they are all accompanied with a 4X4 wheel Jeep.

This one is for those that want to see some of the most dangerous animals in the world. The Maasai Mara Big Cat Safari, this is in the Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya and offers some of the most amazing animals in the world. If you want to see a Lion, then this is the place to be, this is where they are most plentiful in one area, but you have to keep your wits about you. You get escorted around in some large open door 4X4 jeeps, this make for a thrilling ride and experience!  Kenya Safari holidays have become th most popular in the world.

Next is a truly majestic safari, the Zambia Classic Safari. What’s also great here is that this safari crosses through several parks two of which are the Zambezi and Livingstone Park. There are two main stunning features on this safari. The one that everybody considers a great creature is the Elephant, they are massive and powerful, yet very majestic. The biggest and most amazing of all of these features is this one, the Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Diving holidays have been very popular here for the falls have a hidden secret called the Devil’s Armchair.

Have you ever been on a Kenya Safari? How about a Caribbean one!

We have all heard of a safari in Africa, but have any of us heard of the Caribbean safaris? The Caribbean is a luxury island so when you consider the fact there is a safari location there as well, it seems a little odd. If you think about the Caribbean, what do you first think of, a safari location, i don’t think so.

Although you won’t be finding lions or many larger animals on one of these safaris there are many different and diverse animals living here. The Bird Fauna is truly extensive on these islands. Trinidad alone has more bird species than the whole of Canada. There are humming birds and parrots, frigate birds and pelicans flying about all over the place.

Now large animals are some what limited on the land but there is not short fall of large animals in the ocean. Animal life doesn’t just stop at safari on the land, you can also travel to the seas as well. You will be seeing Whales and dolphins, and even a diving is optional if you have the proper training. This kind of safari is slightly different to that of the ones you find in Africa, with this one you can sometimes get out of the jeep and walk around. But be careful in some of the larger islands you could come across some big alligators.

What is truly astonishing is the general knowledge that the guides have about some of these certain areas. They tell interesting and memorable stories about the animals and their origins. Rain forest Safari is where these people have their best stories, adventures and tales. So if you have the decision on a Kenya safari or a Caribbean safari, you should think about what kind of holiday you would prefer, the adventure strung Africa Safari, or the more relaxed Caribbean Safari?

Safari holidays can be fun and educational!

People all over the world would like to experience a Safari holiday, but sometimes it just isn’t available. However is it not a great place for people to learn? Trying to get people to change by telling them about the damage to the environment isn’t that successful, we need to show them.

Not many people get to see some real wild animals, and if they do, the animals they do see are ones that creep into their back gardens. In order to make a difference, we need to start showing this people what the planet is going to start losing. The Masai Mara is a National Protected Park, it contains some of the most endangered animals in the world. Some of the biggest and most amazing creatures can be found i the Masai Mara. We need to try and find ways to help preserve these creatures habitats without damaging their way of life. The Serengeti has some of the world’s most diverse animals and Tanzania holidays have blossomed from this.

These animals are amazing in there own ways. They do need our help to try and keep them alive. Improving the animals way of life and updating how we look after the environment is the best way for us to improve the environment without actually changing the way the animals live. A Kenya Safari offers plenty of information to anyone that embarks on one. Nobody likes a preacher, so i don’t want you to think that i am telling you what to do, just making suggestions. Soon we will need to discover some new ways to help protect the planet.

Unfortunately we cannot just let the world’s leader’s deal with this problem; we need to start taking a little action ourselves. I can guarantee that anybody who goes on Safari would think twice about what they do when they get back home. Meeting some of the world’s most famous animals really does put the way of the world into perspective. This is also one of the best ways to show people the world and how it could be changed.

Safari holidays can be extreme, make sure you don’t forget anything!

Although this holiday will be fun and entertaining, make sure that you don’t leave anything to chance and prepare for this holiday very carefully.
It is pretty clear that meeting a lion could be quite dangerous, but let’s take a look at the more in-depth things to prepare for a safari holiday! You won’t believe how easy it is to forget even the most simple things? Although this doesn’t sound very descriptive Safari wear is key, make sure you visit a specialist. It is very important to try to not take too much stuff with you, luxuries are not really recommended.

Well, what can you take to wear on Safari? It’s light clothing in summer and light and heavy during winter. You will sweat an awful lot during the day, but the nights will be very cold. There are some pretty friendly insects in mighty Africa so insect repellent is a must while sunscreen is also a good idea along with a hat or hats!

Popular Safari Destinations, African lion safaris are always popular. This is the holiday that will give you some unique experiences, and a lot of people in the future won’t be able to see the same things that you have. Some of the more popular lion safari destinations include the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya, particularly during the months of the wilder beast migration, you should consider Kenya holidays in the months of July through August. South Africa safari runs through the vast Kruger National Park, Botswana’s magnificent Central Kalahari, Chobe and Linyati parks and Tanzania’s famous reserves, from the Serengeti to Lake Victoria. Tanzania holidays offer some of the best safari holidays around.

The African lion is not the only famous “jungle icon” you’ll witness in this amazing landscape. One of Africa’s great attractions is its landscape extremes. Photo’s of Africa’s most awe inspiring landscapes and animals will provide you with some great memories and pictures to show friends.Passport is very important, do not misplace it and always keep it on your person.

I was feeling very much upset and needed to get out of the country to explore a new chapter of my life. I had actually been in the same job for so many years and need more excitement. That time of year had come where I had to use up the last couple of weeks of my holiday. Initially I decided to visit Turkey and soak up some sun. But I changed my mind when I came across a couple of blogs about Safari holidays.

Instantly I found myself entranced by what I was reading, mainly about all the animals and people that these writers had met. From that moment all I wanted to do was to go on Safari. After I booked my vacation I just could not wait to get on my way.

I arrived in Arusha airport and was on my way to the Serengeti. I was told to do what ever my guide told me, because if I strayed from his path I was at risk of being attacked by some animals. On My travels round the national park I saw all of the Big Five animals including the Lion, Elephant and the Cape buffalo. I have educated myself so much and have seen a huge range of things.

The best part about it was that I had arrived just in time to see the Circular Migration, where over 2 million herbivores travel over thirty thousand miles following the rains of Africa to find food. It was a mind blowing sight. I went round as much of the national park as I could just so that I could take some amazing pictures to take home to friends. My Guide also recommended some Zambia Holidays for some great safaris to.

After I got back I told everybody about where I had been and what I had done, everyone was so excited to hear about it. They all loved what I had told them and now we will all be going on Kenya Holidays to the Masai Mara for an office holiday in 6 months.

Why not go on safari to Kenya to see some of the most amazing creatures on the planet

The thing with going on safari here is that you will be able to see the “Big Five”. The name Big Five was originally coined by hunters because these animals were supposed to be the hardest game to hunt and find.

The proud pride owner the Lion. The Lion is but only the second largest of the Big Cats, but Tigers aren’t present in the Mara. Lions in general are keystone predators which means they hunt and take down their own food, rather than scavenge, although if the opportunity arises they will take it. In some strange and interesting cases, the Lion has been known to attack people, and sometimes it even has stalked Humans as food.

The ever majestic African Elephant. The one main thing about the elephant is it’s sheer and complete size, this animal reaches an impressive 5 and a half tonnes, and can grow taller than 3 metres. An elephant has 4 molars for teeth and they are each 12 inches long, and weigh about five kilograms. Two and a half metres long is the average length of the elephants tusks.

Then there is the Cape buffalo. This animal is one of the preys of lions that are actually pretty good at defending themselves; they have even been known to kill lions as well. The Cape buffalo is regarded as one of the most dangerous animals in Mara; it is a very short temper and is reported to have killed about 200 people every year.

The Black Rhinoceros. The Black Rhino has not been all that well named, unfortunately it was due to the name of the White Rhino that the so called “Black Rhino” received it’s own. The Black and White Rhino are so similar in colour it’s almost impossible to tell them apart by looking at their skin. The White Rhino was actually a mistranslation from the Dutch word “Weit”. The literal meaning of this word actually means Wide, this was because the White Rhino had a square like structure to it’s lip, but the Black Rhino had a pointed lip.

Finally the Leopard. This is the smallest of the Big Cats, but is by no means the slowest. This Cat isn’t really recognised for its speed; it can run up to 36 mph and can jump up to 3 metres vertically into the air. The Leopard is also a very powerful climber and a supreme swimmer.

So if you would like to go and see the Big Five then why not try Kenya holidays, Tanzania holidays or Zambia holidays. You will find them around these key locations.

The Serengeti, the most amazing safari location in the world

The Serengeti is a beautiful and extremely diverse national park. This land is located up in the north west section of Tanzania. Many wonders and splendors occupy Tanzania and the Serengeti helps put that into perspective. In order to really know what the Serengeti is all about, we need to look at some of the most important and famous parts of this place.

The word Serengeti is actually derived from the Maasai language meaning “endless plains”. The Maasai people were a very strong tribe and they populated much of the Serengeti, when the Europeans came to the land of Tanzania, they left many of the animals alone because they didn’t want to annoy the Maasai people. The well named Serengeti is well suited to its literal meaning, because it spans an area of around thirty thousand kilometres squared.

The main event that the Serengeti is famous for is the Circular Migration. Called many other things, this Migration occurs every year from late July through to early October. Going in search of the rains that travel up through the Serengeti, 2 million herbivores will cross through the Mara River. They continue up into the Masai Mara reserve, a popular destination for Kenya holidays and safaris.

The Serengeti also has its very own active volcano called Ol Doinyo Lengai. This volcano still erupts sending forth clouds of ash which disrupt plant growth across the land. Tanzania is also famous for its 550 or so Avifauna, or its bird species.

If you are interested in going on a safari, this is one of the places that should be at the top of your list. And if you arrive in August or September you may even be able to bear witness to one of the wonders of the world, also called the Circular Migration.

So why don’t you leave home and embark on an adventure on Tanzania holidays or Zambia holidays, you won’t be at all disappointed.

Would you prefer a Safari holiday in the Serengeti, or go to the Seaside in the Caribbean?

Here are two very different holidays. You’re relaxing beach holiday and your adventurous Safari holiday. The thing you have to remember is this all really comes down to which is the best option for you?

This is all down to the person that you are. Some people just like to chill-out and sit by the sea enjoying a few well earned holiday drinks, if you do, then the beach holiday is for you. However, if you’re the kind of person that likes the open outdoors surrounded by the wild, then you have to try a Safari holiday. Let’s just skim over some of the good and bad points on these two holidays.

We’ll start with the Safari holidays. Kenya holidays produce some fantastic safaris. When you leave for one of these holidays you can go to the Masai Mara, one of the most famous safari destinations. On Safari holidays you have so many different options to choose to explore, visit different cultures and go lion searching. The Safari holiday will be one of those holidays that will stay with you forever, experiencing things many others won’t. The main big point on going on a Safari holiday, is that you can can very close to the most stunning wildlife across the world. A guide will be appointed to you, and he will be able to show you all the wonders that await you on your safari. With prices soaring up to and above five thousand pounds in some cases, this would be a once in a life time experience.

So then, if the adventure life isn’t for you then what else is there to try? You can always rely on the seaside resorts. Now everybody enjoys a good holiday by the seaside. The thing with beach holidays is that you can travel all over the world for one, and for a smaller price than a safari. When you can go and swim in the deep blue ocean with white sands the beach holidays to become quite appealing. The main advantage is that the prices to go to the Caribbean will be cheaper than going to Africa. And if you think about it, if all you want to do is go to the beach you don’t even need to go abroad.

If you think you’re an adventure freak, then try the safaris on Zambia holidays or Tanzania holidays where you can visit the Serengeti. Instead you could just go to the Caribbean.

Exciting and adventurous holidays are what its all about in Africa, so if thats what you want then head on down asap. With everything that Africa has to give people won’t be let down when they go on a holiday there. Why not look at these 3 amazing holiday locations.

Let us kick off with Zanzibar holidays. This is the furthest east of the holidays we are going to look at. The Zanzibar island is known better by most as the Spice Island. Years ago this island produced eighty percent of the world’s cloves, now it only produces about twenty. This Island offers tours and fantastic places to go Scuba diving, including a massive history that helps explain how some of the slave trade happened.

Next up is the wonderful Tanzania holidays on Safari. The Serengeti is by far the largest national park in Africa and this is where the holiday is placed. if you are a heavy adventurer you can go and find some of the biggest creatures on the planet and get as close as you ever could in the wild, This will be both fascinating and amazing.

Last but not least is the Fantastic holiday in Marrakech. Although not the most glamorous and the most awe inspiring place in the world, this city does hold the ability to grasp you and keep you entranced. If you want to feel like you’re in your own Indiana Jones film then this place will make it happen. Djeema el Fna Square has been described as the most hustle bustle and exuberant market place on the planet. Up in the north west of Africa, Marrakech the market place has story tellers, water sellers, acrobats, dancers and musicians, to keep you always entertained.

So why not try one of the fabulous but very different holidays to have an absolutely amazing time, another great safari zone to note as well is the Masai Mara, so if the Serengeti isn’t for you then try Kenya holidays instead.

You probably wont be immediately think of Zambia as a possible holiday destination. At some point in life everyone has to try and go here, it has stunning scenery and will be a holiday to remember.  Now that kenya is halving the cost of it’s Visa’s to £25 for an adult, these holidays will be well worth a visit.

Zambia is undisputedly most famous for the Victoria Falls. In order to really understand the true beauty of the Victoria Falls you need to be there to see it, not to mention it is one of the seven wonders of the world. The Water falls name is actually Smoke that Thunders which is a translation of Mosi-Oa-Tunya. As the water flows over the edge of the waterfall and into the deep gorge below the water is forced back up into the air like a cloud. Zambia holidays have become more and more popular thanks to these waterfalls.

The sheer amazing sight of these falls is not the only reason to visit them. If you arrive in the September or December months, the water levels will be low enough for you to take a swim. When the waters reach a low level and are only just skimming the top of the cliff edge before they go into the gorge, a safe natural swimming pool appears. This naturally created pool is known as the Devils Armchair.

There is also a Victoria Falls National Park. This Park is opened to visitors throughout the year and offers tourists a look into the Safari Life. Although not a massive size this National park does sustain a wide range of animals and vegetation. Also you can walk this National Park, with a guide obviously. Instead of having to drive around in the jeep or bus, you get to be at one with nature and the wildlife. Kenya holidays and Tanzania holidays have become a lot more popular recently as well, this is due to the fantastic Safari’s that they offer.

So if you want to go and see some of the most amazing sights in the world, you should consider going to Africa and make your next holiday something different.
