Puerto Rico has a calendar of events all year long. The most popular events are held during the Patron Saint Festivals or Fiestas Patronales, in honor of the patron saint of each municipality. These include religious processions that originated as a Catholic tradition. Held in the town square, the festivals offer colorful displays of pride and joy, featuring parades, games, rides, regional food and live entertainment. The island offers a wide variety of sports that include golf, tennis and hiking. For the water sports enthusiast there's scuba diving, snorkeling and deep sea fishing off San Juan’s coast could prove to be an experience of a lifetime.

In the towns you will experience 400 years of Spanish heritage seen in the architecture and the beautiful Town Plazas that you can find in each town without exceptions. The popularity of all-inclusive holidays has soared in recent years, and its not hard to see why. Anyone who has tried an all-inclusive option will recognise that they can not only enhance your holidaying experience but actually surprisingly save you a bit of cash at the same time. They are a step up from the holidays you might be used to and award you more time to do the things that really matter on holiday. This might be doing nothing at all mind you, but it will be an enjoyable nothing at all. Let take a look at the top advantages of these holidays for the benefit of those who don't know much about them

Money
. Can you imagine how nice it would be for money to not be a concern on holiday. Not being concerned about leaving money in your room or having to find some cash to buy an ice cream. Well you can have this peace of mind when you go all inclusive because you'll find that everything is included in the cost of your holiday, so not only can you budget better but no annoying money either

Travel.  A lot of resorts don’t have their own food outlets or restaurants and so you have to venture into the nearest town each time you get peckish or want and evening meal. This means that you may have to find money each time for taxis or buses, but also pay for meals out everyday which is often costly. There are however often a whole host of different food outlets that can be found within the ground of all inclusive resorts. So no need to travel long distance to satisfy your appetite

Luxury. Holidays are all about getting a break from everyday life and being treated like royalty. Simular to luxury cruises like peter deilmann cruises, all-inclusive resorts are so convenient when you want a quick snack or cheeky drink that you’ll begrudge having to make anything for yourself when you return home.

For fully inclusive luxury river cruises take a trip to White Star Cruises

Resorts at the Poconos are available for both family and couples only. For couples, resorts like Pocono Palace Resort and Pocono Manor are just some of the places that are poised to make your stay a memorable one. Your Family on the other hand can put together reunions at one of these family-oriented resorts.

The Poconos resorts history started when Rudolf Von Hoevenberg opened “The Farm on the Hill”, a resort for honeymooners in 1945. Soon, other honeymoon resort owners followed and by the 1950’s, resorts in the Poconos became a lucrative business. There are so many resorts to choose from that one would have to make a decision to ensure that it caters to the needs of all involved.

Now each year, thousands upon thousands of people visit the Poconos to relax and vacation. Over 200,000 of them are honeymooners to the spot that was once dubbed “The Honeymoon Capital of the World.” You can either stay in a house, which consists of mountain or lakefront properties or at one of the hotels or resorts. Costs of these resorts range from $250 to $600 a night. But those who have experienced a Poconos honeymoon will tell you that it is money well spent. You end up paying for a resort that has heart-shaped bathtubs and whirlpools, log fireplace and round, king-sized beds.
Some prices are inclusive of two meals, activities and entertainment. A well known resort is the Caesars Pocono Resort.

Poconos Resorts and hotels

Operating in the Poconos for many years, the entranceway of Caesars has welcomed thousands of honeymoon couples. This luxurious establishment has four levels of pleasure waiting for you. And they go all-out to pamper couples: dry sauna, steam shower, massage table with heat lamp, and breakfast in bed. A concierge is also on hand at the resort to give information that will have your vacation run more smoothly. They include transportation and can assist with information about resort activities.

Major hotels may offer activities such as water-skiing, golf, indoor and outdoor tennis, paddle boating, snow skiing and snowmobiling. You can explore your own activities away from the resort. After all, in the Poconos, there is never a dull moment. Go sailing, or take a walk on one of the beaches. You’ll have a romantic time in the park or by the lake. Whatever you do, ensure that you get back to your room just in time for nightly entertainment, which some Poconos hotels include as part of your all-inclusive package.
