Recently holiday prices have been falling and New York has been receiving even more visitors from outside the United States. The Statue stands over ninety three metres tall including the pedestal, and weighs an impressive 204.1 tonnes. This huge figurine, was built mostly out of a copper sheet, internally it’s framework consisted of Steel, it was given to the USA to celebrate it’s centennial. Since September 11 you have not been able to climb up to the top, but you can still go into the rectangular pedestal.

The Empire State Building, one hundred and three stories tall. Once the tallest building in the world, the Empire State Building has been used in many films and is one of the USA’s greatest landmarks. It became clear this building was going to be even more special the moment it survived being hit by a B-32 bomber. This is a fantastic sight, and the view from the observation deck is truly stunning.

There are many national Parks in New York including thousands of acres of Gateway National Recreation Area. This city doesn’t just consist of buildings and roads, it does in-fact have some quite amazing parks. There are a large number of entertainments and performing arts museums to visit including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and he Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts. New York holidays have benefited much from all of the establishments that have been provided.

If you have considered going elsewhere like, Las Vegas holidays or have even contemplated Vegas weddings, you should still consider New York as a prime holiday experience.

America and more specifically the USA, offers so much to tourists. The people here are great, and not to mention that there is so much to see that you will find it hard to get bored. If you add up all of America’s Contiguous states which is 48, they cover over three hundred and sixty five million acres. The hard decision is where to go in this land of wonder.

So let’s take a look at some of the East and West Coast regions that offer some of the most amazing holidays. Let ’s take a look at the East Coast and then move onto the West Coast.

The State of New York is in the north east of the USA. What a great place for sight seeing, with the Statue of Liberty as the first main tourist attraction. New York has many national Parks and also plays host to the Bridal Veil falls, the smaller part of Niagara falls. Georgia and the city of Atlanta lie on the west coast as well. There is an Aquarium in Georgia as well, not to mention one of the largest in the world. You also have the World of Coca Cola building which is a great tourist attraction to learn a little history. Finally there is Florida, Florida holidays are massive and offer some of the best entertainment in the world. Good old Disney world has more visitors each year than any other theme park in the world.

So now we have seen the East Coast, let us look at the West Coast. Well Nevada, the home to Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world, and this is mainly what Nevada is known for. This used to be a testing ground for nuclear weapons, probably not much to see anymore. There is so much to do in California. Los Angeles and Hollywood are the two big names that spring to mind, the districts for stars and celebrities; you are surrounded by hundreds of millions of pounds anywhere around here. Holding everything steady is Washington. There is plenty of history to explore here and many different sites for you to see including the home of Microsoft and the Washington State Capitol in Olympia.

So now you know a choice of holidays available, which will it be? New York holidays or Las Vegas holidays?
