Vegas is most famous for its Gambling and luxury like casinos. The surroundings in all the casinos are definitely luxury like, the casinos themselves offer us all the fun we could need. Is this all a bit too much though…. Are the casinos just completely taking over Vegas?
On Monday a new casino called the Sand’s Bethlehem Casino opened up bringing the count of casinos in Las Vegas to 122. This means that there are about 200,000 slot machines in Las Vegas alone. If you think about it, isn’t that quite a lot of slot machines. Somwhere around the large figure of 36 million people visit sunny Vegas every year. People don’t always go to Las Vegas just so they can burn holes in the pockets. People also go to this wondrous place to get married, about 300 Las Vegas weddings are conducted every day.
That’s a lot of gambling and a lot of weddings, the casinos do contribute a large amount of recreational activities. What do we think about 120 casinos is that too much, it might just be the right amount. Vegas has many of the most famous and popular casinos in the world like the Bellagio and Caesars Palace. Vegas gathers a large amount of revenue from these casinos. People are packing in the Florida Villas idea and moving to the gambling nation.
Now that British Airways have set up a direct flight to Las Vegas from Heathrow I am sure that the visiting rates will be increasing as well. Well is stopping the construction of casinos in Vegas the best way to go? Well no we don’t really, its where gambling is, they are going to build more casinos even if we don’t want them to. I am sure that there will be a point when there is not much more reason to create more casinos because the current ones will be bringing in all the business. So at this point in time, the casinos currently occupying Las Vegas, provide us with our gambling needs. Las Vegas holidays will be growing from year to year and so will the amount we spend in the casino.

Well then, is this all the Las Vegas is known for, just gambling and the odd wedding, or has it got more to offer us. Well although Gambling and the quick Las Vegas weddings is what Vegas is known for, it does offer us some other interesting alternatives to spending all our time and money on, well money.
Las Vegas has many other different things we can do other than gamble, gamble, gamble. There are some cracking sights to see when you get to Vegas, The free standing observation tower called the Stratosphere tower is the tallest observation tower in the USA. At the top of this tower you will have a wonderful view right over the top of Vegas. So apart from getting a lovely view what else is there that you can do? If food is your obsession then this is the place for you. Las Vegas is famous for its buffets, try and eat your own weight in grub at practically any restaurant in this place. Emeril’s is a great place to go and eat some fine food, receiving great reviews all the time.
So far we have; great view and eat your own weight in food. If you dont fancy trying some other things, you have to make certain you set some time aside to pop along to the Pool at the Mirage. All kinds of Las Vegas holidays mention this place in a deal and you should definitely check it out. Trees and all kinds of plants and flowers cover this place, it is truly beautiful even from the first second you enter. Not to mention when you get to the lagoon at the end, looks like a little slice of paradise.
At some point if you have gone to Vegas, you are more than likely going to do a little gambling. But don’t rush in like your ready to burn holes in your pockets, try a little learning first. Most Casino’s now offer a bit of training before you get straight into gambling now, maybe it will help. Even though you have had your training session, it might be advisable to still take it easy if its your first time.
