It was time for me to leave wet and rainy England and head over to America, more accurately to Las Vegas. I had become fed up with just sitting around and working, it was about time that i went out into the world and tried a long holiday. I really wanted to go for a long holiday, and to go somewhere far away, somewhere I hadn’t tried before. Somebody mentioned to me that Las Vegas was the place to be for an exciting holiday.

So that was it I was on my way for Las Vegas Holidays. I landed in McCarran Airport, and was picked up in a car and taken to the Bellagio Hotel. I was astonishingly awe struck. It truly was the best hotel I had ever visited. As soon as you walk in you are stunned by the cleanliness and the sheer beauty of the hotels surroundings. For the price, the room i received was truly beautiful.

As i had decided to come to Vegas, i decided that i had to try my hand at some gambling. So I booked myself in for a few games of blackjack and roulette. It was a real blast, although i didn’t come out on top. I had heard much about the city of Las Vegas, all i needed to do now was see some of the sites and finish the rest of my holiday with a couple of nice drinks.

It was coming to the end of my vacation, so i decided to head back to the hotel. What better way to spend your final day on holiday, than trying your luck on the slot machines. I must have spent about 60 dollars, when all of a sudden the big slot machine I was on starting ringing, people came running up to me and congratulating me. At first I didn’t know what had happened, until I noticed the Giant “Jackpot” flashing sign. I won’t say how much I won, but it was a fair amount. One of the best holidays ever.

I have also recommended to my two sons to have Las Vegas weddings, should be good fun for all of them.

I then decided to visit Vegas, I went to several of the casinos to see what they were like, including; the Luxor, the Mirage and the Circus Circus.

It was coming to the end of my vacation, so i decided to head back to the hotel. What better way to spend your final day on holiday, than trying your luck on the slot machines. I had begun to spend a little too much, somewhere in the region of 140 dollars, then all of a sudden, there was a flashing light and a siren, i was all of a sudden surrounded by people. At first I didn’t know what had happened, until I noticed the Giant “Jackpot” flashing sign. I won’t say how much I won, but it was a fair amount. There is no way anyone could have a better holiday.

The old capital city of Bulgaria is Veliko Turnovo. It is famous with its numerous historical sites. Its geographical location is what makes it so impressive. It is situated in the lower parts of the Balkans, on top of many hills, which are surrounded by the Yantra River. The houses are in amphitheatrical order in both the old town and the new town. The view from the bottom of a hill is gorgeous – the houses look like they are on top of each other.

The city is visited by thousands of tourists. It is interesting not only with its geographical location, but with its cultural heritage too. The three historical hills – Tsarevets, Trapezitsa and Sveta Gora are the most visited sites by tourists, who usually are unaware of the proximity of numerous cave formations in the surroundings of the city – caves and holes with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Their count is surprisingly large – the caves are over 90 and the speleologists or random passers-by still discover unknown so far caves and holes. Part of them are examined and are available for tourists and others are yet to be discovered by enthusiasts of adventures and speleologists. An ordinary tourist can stop by and have a fulfilling holiday, alternating passive with active holiday and have an unforgettable adventure while admiring the nature. There are hundreds of caves and holes in the region, so it is hard to choose which ones to visit. For your ease, here are some of the most famous caves and holes for tourists to visit:
Emenska cave, Troana, Ruse 213, Bambalova cave and 12 more holes, all situated in the Emen village, Veliko Turnovo region. Arbanashkata cave, Kalugerskata, Danina holes, Golyamata Nisha (“The Big Niche”), Ovchata propast (“The Sheep Abyss”) are situated in Arbanasi. Genchova, Chamitova holes, Gornata Propast (“The Upper Abyss”), Mahnatite Skali (“The Mossy Rocks”), Kostenurkata (“The Turtle”), Dolnyat Vartop (“The Lower Whirlpool”) are situated in the Malki Chiflik village. Prashnata cave (“The Dusty Cave”), Kostnitsa and postnitsa, Sveta Troitsa (“St. Trinity”), Manastirskata caves are situated in the Samodeve village. In Veliko Turnovo are Tonevata, Manastirskata, Evtimievata, Raztsepenata (“The Split Cave”), Kalchovets, Mateyovata, Imanyarskata (“The Treasure-Hunters’ cave), Malkiya Vodopad (“The Small Waterfall”), Furnata (“The Bakery), Tsepkata (“The Slit”), Apostolskata caves and the. Manastirskite , Kalchova, Yonchova, Mariina holes.

The city and the surroundings offer many places to stay – from the expensive and luxurious hotels, which offer various entertainment shows to the quiet and tranquil beautiful villas and hotels, mostly situated in the wilderness.

Once again the summer holiday breaks have occurred, for the kids its literally a dream come true, they will have no stresses or strains for six whole weeks. But for some parents it can literally be quite a strenous time as a lot of kids tend to get bored and become naughty.

A lot of families choose to go abroad for the summer to get away and relax, but due to the credit crisis this is not happening this year.
