These two destinations couldn’t be much more different, but similar in their own way. Although these countries are very different, but they both hold something unique to each other in history terms. Cuba is the place of recent history, frozen in time. If you have a passion for ancient history, no place offers better features than Egypt. However which one best suits your holiday needs?
Cuba holidays have slowly come into the tourism light. They haven’t been sought after much before the year 2000, mainly because they were considered dangerous. Cuba has been stuck in a rut, stuck in the past and frozen in time, everything resembles something from 30 years ago. Although they have a powerful military control, the streets of Cuba are lined with very old and traditional houses; the roads are pebble stone or concrete. They are also the producers of the most expensive cigars in the world, all hand rolled. If you really want to, you could visit Cuba and roll a cigar yourself. If you like to dive then Cuba is perfect, with plenty of diving locations and a wide variety of marine life.
Egypt holidays have always been popular with many people. The prices have started to come down as well. Egypt certainly isn’t short of history especially when it comes to the first civilization in the world. If you want to see everything that this country has to offer you are going to have to spend a very long time here. The must is the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx; these are some of the most amazing sights anyone will ever be able to see. Not to mention they have been around for thousands of years, amazing. Cairo is a great place to be for all the hustle and bustle of all the people and markets, many people visit this place just for the crazy trading atmosphere. Egypt is home to the oldest civilization known to man, and a library that contains some of the oldest scripts in the world. This place is considered the place for all knowledge.
So there you go now you have two very exciting places to consider for your next holiday, I would recommend either one of them, but for weddings abroad it has to be Cuba.

At some point i recommend you go to Cuba on holiday. This is one of the most amazing locations across the world. Cuba is a country that has been stuck in time, the advancements in the streets are slow, and in some cases stopped.
Cuba is stuck in the late 60’s, early 70’s. You can even see the old fashioned cars still in complete service. Although Cuba is a very secretive and controlled country, tourism has started to really boom. Cuba holidays offer many people all kinds of activities and new experiences. The bars and restaurants are unique and very friendly, and the flamenco dancing is original and good fun. Cuba is a place to go back in time and visit the world of yesterday. If you are interested in any sort of art or diverse cultures, then you will find utter bliss here. If you like your food and old school cars, this is definitely for you.
Now for the holiday maker who likes a bit of sea sun and sand, well you have come to the right place. You can be sure to get plenty of this on your Cuba holiday. There are some white sandy beaches, most owned by the local hotels. All you need to do is book yourself a stay in one of the hotels and they will supply you with a massive beach, barely populated as well. The Accommodation in all of these hotels is an astonishing site to behold. Everything is very clean and well kept; the general service is prompt and friendly. The fact that we don’t have much insight into this country is the reason why we don’t have a great idea of what happens, a holiday in Cuba can clear this up for you.
If you are considering a holiday this year then give Cuba a go, the only other holidays I would recommend are Egypt holidays, this is because they still maintain a very powerful and interesting history.

Should Cuba just be world known for it’s cigars?
The Cohiba is one of the world’s most expensive cigar brands and has many different types, with prices ranging from 30 pounds to 250 pounds per cigar. All around the world people know Cuba for it’s cigar making skills.
However Cuba isn’t just about the cigars that they make this quaint yet booming island has many other cultural gifts to offer us. The history of this Island is amazing with famous figures ranging from politician Fidel Castro to actress Eva Mendez. Even places like Castillo de Farnes, where Che Guevara and Castro toasted the success of the revolution, these seem to go unnoticed.
Cuba holidays offer us a new niche of tourism. We must remember though that Cuba does make great Cigars and although we are accentuating this point, they do allow us to try and roll our own cigars. The Real Fabrica de Tabaco’s Partuga’s in Havana shows you how to create your own cigar and then help you to roll one. Cuba is now becoming one of the main places to go on holiday because the tourism industry is booming, this makes tourism one of Cuba’s biggest money spinners.
The Cuba hotels are getting more and more modern every day. Although they do have some national treasures, the Nacional Hotel has starred in many gangster films with Frank Sinatra and is one of the oldest hotels on the island. It still however has beautiful flooring and is rated 5 stars, with people like Winston Churchill being one of the many famous figures to have stayed there.
Now that they have ferries from Cuba to Jamaica you can enjoy weekend Jamaica holidays as well. Cuba and it’s cigars are world renowned but this wonderful place provides us with a unique history and beautiful scenery as well.

Here are 3 holidays that I think you should consider this year:
Jamaica – What a fantastic place, first of all it’s in the Caribbean, which means we’re off to a good start. Sandy beaches and sun all of the time, it’s guaranteed to keep you smiling. One of the best ideas is to go swimming with dolphins, although you can do this in other places, but with the climate and the atmosphere it feels a lot more natural in Jamaica. There are Sting rays to go for a swim with too, this is more relaxing than the Dolphins, and not quite so energetic. However if you don’t want to do either of these, you can still go and visit the Bob Marley museum, this place always receives good reviews. Try Jamaica holidays, they really are special.
Cuba – This place is another destination in the Caribbean where you can enjoy the sun. Cuba is energetic yet peaceful, there is so much to do on this island but I will only mention a few of them. You can go to a cigar factory and learn to make a cigar and actually make one yourself, if you don’t want to smoke it then give is to a friend as a holiday pressie, but its great fun. Varadero is another place in Cuba you must visit, it has a beautiful long beach and provides all kinds of hotels, bars and restaurants. Many famous people have visited Cuba and it’s given us some great actors and historical figures. The Nacional hotel is a famous landmark in Cuba, it has starred in gangster films with the likes of Frank Sinatra, and has had People such as Winston Churchill stay. Cuba holidays are absolutely booming don’t miss out.
Dubai – Well I think that you all know how popular this place is but I will help shed a bit more light. The thing with Dubai is it feels like its designed to make us feel special. The difference between Dubai and home is that you can feel like a millionaire in Dubai, the people are friendly and the markets are welcoming. Dubai is the center for gold trading, so when you go to the markets, and you must, just make sure that the gold market is doing well. Riding the skies in a hot air balloon is great where ever you are, but over Dubai you get a sense of how small it is in comparison with the deserts around it. You should try going on holidays to Dubai, they are so uplifting.
