• Eat. Some would suggest this goes without saying. We need food to live right, so what’s so great about cruise food? well cruise liners will often have some the best restaurants that you will find anywhere and menu’s that reflect the part of the world that you are in at the time. Try sampling a small amount of food from all the restaurants on board to make the most of having lots of top class chefs in effectively the same building.
• Swim. You will more often than not find some great swimming pools on board that are perfect for getting some lengths in, having a play around or spending hours on a lilo soaking up the rays. The sun will be your to enjoy all day long as well due to fact there is nothing for miles around that will cause a shadow. Water flumes, wave-riding machines and water sports activities can be found on many boats and provide unlimited fun.
• Casino. Even if you don’t know a chip from a deck, you should still take time to check out the awesome casinos. You simply cannot liken the great atmosphere you find in a casino with anywhere else and it’s always one of the best places to get to know your fellow holiday makers. You won’t have to take out your life savings to have a great time but if it’s your first experience the the casino world then Blackjack should be your first port of call. Its easy to learn and you can make money without having to be an expert.
• Bar. There will be a number of different bars all over the ship and some luxury cruises are all inclusive, so there is no excuse not to sample some liquid delights. The barmen and ladies make a million martinis a day but will jump at the chance to make something a little more interesting. Request that they mix up something that is traditionally to the local area and watch as they spin, shake and stir a bit of culture into your cruise.
• Shows. You are almost guaranteed to find something you like from the wide range of quality performances that cruise ships put on. They will be something for everyone and there are some acts that you cannot see anywhere else. Ask the staff around the ship for their recommendations and cruise reviews. They have more than likely watched the shows a good number of times so will have the best advice around.
