New York has featured in films and been in the news all the time. This is a holiday to enjoy if you like to learn about interesting places. Visiting New York should be top of your priority list for your next holiday. This is a great adventure for anyone.
Recently holiday prices have been falling and New York has been receiving even more visitors from outside the United States. The Statue stands over ninety three metres tall including the pedestal, and weighs an impressive 204.1 tonnes. This huge figurine, was built mostly out of a copper sheet, internally it’s framework consisted of Steel, it was given to the USA to celebrate it’s centennial. Since September 11 you have not been able to climb up to the top, but you can still go into the rectangular pedestal.
The Empire State Building, one hundred and three stories tall. Once the tallest building in the world, the Empire State Building has been used in many films and is one of the USA’s greatest landmarks. It became clear this building was going to be even more special the moment it survived being hit by a B-32 bomber. This is a fantastic sight, and the view from the observation deck is truly stunning.
There are many national Parks in New York including thousands of acres of Gateway National Recreation Area. This city doesn’t just consist of buildings and roads, it does in-fact have some quite amazing parks. There are a large number of entertainments and performing arts museums to visit including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and he Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts. New York holidays have benefited much from all of the establishments that have been provided.
If you have considered going elsewhere like, Las Vegas holidays or have even contemplated Vegas weddings, you should still consider New York as a prime holiday experience.
